Week 9 Q4

What we learn this week! Spalding: Students finished 100 spelling cumulative tests! This is an outstanding effort from kindergarten. You should be proud of your child. A tricky part of this test is that students need to remember and write the markings. I am so proud of the students! Great effort! Reading reminders: We are wrapping the reading levels and sight words now. We will report the numbers to administration with what students were able to accomplish this week. Also, we will report the numbers to the first-grade teachers to continue the reading process in first grade. We won't send any new books inside the reading bag next week. The reading needs to continue during the summer, so the students do not loose all the reading skills they learned during the school year.
