Week 2 Q3
Dear families, Thank you to all the families that donated supplies for the Squanto cooking project! For the second semester, these kindergarteners will work hard to finish with strong foundations for first grade. It is very important to continue all the routines in place for them to be successful in their academic progress. Perseverance virtue will be practiced all semester. Sincerely, Mrs. Bernal What we learn this week! Spalding: We introduced the phonograms IGH, ED, WR. Students used their pink notebook to write their new spelling words/sight words ( chance, charge, little, are ). Reading reminders: Your child should read to an adult as daily homework. Practice sight words as daily homework. Assessments on Wednesdays. Minimal goal by the end of third quarter, master 68 sight words. (5 sight words a week), but the sky is the limit!
