  Dear families, As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. It has been a joy to watch your children grow and thrive in our classroom. Their laughter, curiosity, and kindness brighten each day, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of their learning journey. With appreciation, Mrs. Bernal Notes:   Our cumulative Spalding Phonogram Test will start on Monday December 2nd and will last for 10 days. Keep practicing the single letter phonograms and all the two letter phonograms. As I mentioned before, the best way to practice is you saying the phonogram (all sounds), and students writing the phonogram without looking at the flashcard.   Dear families, Students will work hard in the next weeks to wrap up the second quarter and to show what they have learned. Several assessments will be conducted in the next weeks and we finished some this week. Please continue the school days routines at home so students are well rested and ready to perform at their best. Students should be healthy and well rested so they show us their growth.   Dear families, The weather feels like fall now! The students are progressing accordingly with their academics and reading. Make sure your child eats and sleeps well to avoid illnesses. This is the season they can catch colds. Exciting learning will happen in the classroom, and we do not want them to miss it. Students need to read daily at home for 20 minutes. Practice makes better! The highlight of the week was our Classical Character Day! Students enjoyed all the fun activities and talking about why they choose their character.
